Some years ago I made it halfway through Metroid: Other M before getting sidetracked. Picked it up from scratch the other day, and I'm having just as much fun as I did the first time around. Absolutely adore this one—it's like a bad sci-fi TV show that takes itself completely seriously. Nintendo and Team Ninja came up with a brilliantly simple Wiimote-only control scheme that to this day remains one of the most intuitive I've ever experienced. The game is a sleeper gem that never got its due.
